How it all started

In August 2005, a local group of outstanding business and community leaders, headed by President and CEO Mark Duffy, set forth to organize a new community bank in Snohomish County. Of the 17 original Founders, nine were selected to serve on the Board of Directors. These individuals believed the time was right to undertake the organization of the bank and to reflect the local commitment of the new bank, selected Everett, WA, as the desired location and Mountain Pacific Bank as the name.

With regulatory approval and capitalization goals exceeded, the bank opened its Main Office, located in the new Everett Gateway Center in July 2006. This location near the intersection of Broadway Avenue and I-5, offers unparallel access and convenience.

In 2008, our first Branch Office was approved and opened at Highway 99 and 196th in Lynnwood. In 2013, we opened our Maritime Banking Loan Production Office in Ballard. And in 2015, we converted this into a Full Service Banking Office.
